Kerry Pollock and Doc Eason have
released this long out of print routine that has become a standard for
stand-up comedy performers and Emcees.
It features rhyming patter where the King
of Hearts is removed from between the Queen of Spades and the Queen of Clubs
three times. Each time he manages to reappear. Finally, he vanishes in a
cloud of laughter.
Comes complete with four jumbo plastic
cards, including the special gimmick and the instructional DVD.
The DVD also includes scripts from Kerry
Pollock, Dan Garrett, Doug Slater, RJ Owens and Doc Eason in pdf form so
that, once you have chosen the version you want to use, you can print it. In
addition the DVD includes an audio file of Doc's script which you can upload
to your iPod. Also includes four live performances: one from Kerry, one from
RJ Owens and two from Doc. You will also learn the handling, care and
feeding of the props, and cautionary notes about when not to do this
routine, as well as additional tips from Bill Palmer, Bob Escher and a
clever reworking of the script by Doug Slater and Paul Landry.

This
DVD features Doc Eason performing behind the bar at the Tower Comedy
Magic Bar in Snowmass Village, Colorado where he appeared for more than
25 years. The show presented is a combination of two shows taped in
front of a lively audience in April 2003. The program begins with a
brief history of the Tower Bar and how Doc joined the team and
immediately goes into his opening routine. Doc explained: "It moves
quickly into my color changing knife routine, that I open almost every
show with ... a card transposition that has become a cornerstone of my
act...a weird sort of puzzle trick that I have been killing with!... my
"bar bet" routine that has become a feature part of my act (thanks to
Bob Read) and an obscure (but killer) torn and restored card routine
that has been frying my audiences for a few years now. I have included a
second closing on the last two effects... to show the same trick's
ending with a different audience. I close the whole thing with a card on
Ceiling montage to show the updated ending. As always, the whole thing
is liberally seasoned with bits and jokes."
All our copies have been hand autographed by
Doc Eason. Encoded for worldwide viewing. Produced by Doc
Eason. Original release date: 2004. Running Time: Approximately 40 minutes.
Performance only.
