Original Mystery Time Program

Original Mystery Time Program

An original program for an unbelievable cast of magicians which performed on January 21, 1945 at the Belasco Theater on Broadway in NYC. Hardeen (Houdini’s Brother), Cardini, The Great Raymond, Al Flosso, and Litzka (wife of the Great Raymond and later Walter Gibson) are prominently featured in this program with photos and biographies. The show, "Mystery Time," was produced by The Magicians Guild in conjunction with the Conjurors’ Magazine.

The 8.5x11.5" program has eight pages with a two color cover. In addition to the interesting bios and photos you are also treated to a brief history of the Magicians Guild and a listing of their officers and members which serves as a who’s who in the magic world of the time.

The Great Raymond fans remember this show as the one where he got sick a few hours before show time and was replaced by: Doug Geoffrey (Hardeen Junior), Warren Simms, Hal Haviland, and Jarrow. Hardeen died June 12, 1945, less than five months after this show. It is most likely that this was the last time these performers appeared on a bill together. Very few copies available.

Original Mystery Time Program US $35.00
