This is a reproduction of one of the rarest cheating books ever published. There are only three known copies in existence and the copy that this edition was made from recently sold at auction for US $24,000.00!

It was written by Alfred Trumble and was first published in 1882. It was a landmark book on America's favorite crooked card game. It explains the origin, rules, and history of Faro, as well as the sophisticated methods used by card cheats to beat the odds.

Twenty years before Erdnase, Faro Exposed explained riffle stacking and gaffed dealing boxes, along with countless other subterfuges and sleights used to "get the money" in a game that was, until the rise of poker, America's national past time.

Among the techniques described are rough, sanded, rounded, and stripped cards; gaffed faro boxes; dodges with alluring names like “The Coffee Mill,” “Squared Sights and Tie Ups,” “Horse Hair,” and sundry other card-sharping methods.

This is a limited, facsimile, numbered edition of 500 copies. Published by Squash Publishing in 2018. It is a 98-page, 6.25 x 9.25 inch hard-cover with a sewn binding. It includes a color recreation of the original cover and illustrated with attractive woodcuts. Includes a new Introduction by Jason England.
