The full title of this booklet is Jack Carpenter’s “Ultimate Hold’Em Demonstration.” It is the perfect title for this outstanding routine where the spectator shuffles and deals the cards using a standard Hold’em procedure and still ends up with the predicted straight flush.
The detailed routine is as follows: You shuffle the cards and let the spectator do a final riffle shuffle. The spectator then deals five cards, one to each imaginary player. The spectator once again shuffles and cuts the deck and deals five more cards, so each of the five players has the two hole cards necessary for a game of Hold’em. The spectator then freely selects one of the Hold’em hands he dealt and the rest are discarded.
The spectator now discards one card and deals the flop, discards and deals the turn, discards and deals the river. Upon looking at the two hole cards it is seen that the spectator has dealt himself a straight flush! But before the gambling demonstration began there was a $20 wager made and when that $20 bill is unfolded it names the winning hand that was dealt.
An essentially self-working gambling demonstration where the player shuffles, cuts, makes every decision along the way, and without fail, beats the odds for the Ultimate Hold’Em Demonstration.

A bona fide stunner that will destroy laymen, cardmen, and poker players. I didn’t have a clue and had to reach into my pocket just to make sure Jack hadn’t somehow also lifted my wallet! …Steve Forte
