A very easy and quick routine using a special set of gaffed coins manufactured specifically for this effect.

You show two rare coins. A silver Morgan Dollar and a $20 gold coin. Once you show the coins there are many ways to proceed depending on your preferences but the basic effect is of the gold coin changing into a gold ring. The coin set is versatile so you can make the change from visual to a more mysterious one.
