The GPS Deck is marked. But the markings are on the edges of the cards instead of the traditional backs of the cards.

Although similar marking systems have been around both in the magic and gambling world, this is the first time anyone has figured out how to have the United States Playing Card Company mark the cards as part of the printing process.

You can basically find the location of any card or group of cards by looking at the edges of the cards and you can then cut to or shuffle to those cards. No matter how thoroughly the spectator shuffles the cards you can still spot the locations of those cards.

The marking system is hidden within the specially designed backs and the deck can be handed out for complete examination.
