Made of Aluminum, this is the smallest version of the classic Pom Pom Stick whose basic premise dates back to the 1700s. It is pocket size and can be carried with you.
The basic routine is a comedy sequence that seems like a silly puzzle which ends with an impossible revelation.
The routine begins with a small aluminum stick, approximately 3" long, with a long string passing through one end and a short string through the other. A colored pom-pom is attached to each string end.
When you pull the pom-pom on the short string down the pom-pom on the long string goes up. As you pull on different pom-poms, others go up and down in impossible sequences, until your friends are sure that all the strings are attached to each other. That is when you pull the stick apart, proving that there are no connections and what you demonstrated was impossible.

I'm able to do the exact same routine with it as I do in my stage show.
I have been using Kovari's Pom Pom trick since the late 1980s and worked out a routine that gets a very good response. I have done it in about 1,500 shows.
I don't do much close up work, but I have assembled a group of tricks I keep in a large side pocket in my briefcase for my "day job." This way, I'm always prepared to do various tricks beyond what I can keep on my person.
I took a chance and purchased this Mini Pom Pom from Meir. It's not cheap, but it is well made and now resides with me all the time. I'm able to do the exact same routine with it as I do in my stage show. There are no compromises in functionality. I'm very happy with the purchase.
