This is a self-contained floating match effect that is easy to do and is always ready. There are no hookups or external forces used. Does not require any setup or reset of any kind. It is always ready to go.

It is based on Ben Harris’ Cosmosis and is endorsed by him. It is offered in two versions. As a matchbook and a matchbox.

►Matchbook Edition: You display and open a book of matches. You then remove a match and hold it a couple of inches above the other matches. As you let go of the match it remains suspended in midair. You can then pass your hand above, below, and around the match to prove that it is really floating.

►Matchbox Edition: You display a box of matches. You remove the cover and place it behind the drawer. A match is removed from the drawer, and you hold it a couple of inches above the other matches. As you let go of the match it remains suspended in midair. You can then pass your hand above, below, and around the match to prove that it is really floating.
